Official HMH-463 Pegasus Vietnam Patch

Official HMH-463 Pegasus Vietnam Patch — USMC Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron Vietnam-Era Embroidered Patch

Pegasus in Vietnam — CH-53 heavy lift in the most demanding theater of the Cold War.

HMH-463 "Pegasus" deployed to Vietnam operating the CH-53A Sea Stallion, providing the heavy-lift capability that was critical in the rugged terrain of I Corps and throughout the Republic of Vietnam. The CH-53 was the only Marine helicopter capable of recovering downed aircraft, resupplying remote hilltop outposts, and extracting heavy equipment from fire bases under siege. During the Vietnam War, HMH-463 crews flew into some of the most dangerous landing zones in Marine Corps history, often under intense anti-aircraft fire while hauling loads that pushed the Sea Stallion to its limits.

Perfect For:
HMH-463 Pegasus Vietnam veterans, CH-53A Sea Stallion combat crews, Marine heavy helicopter Vietnam-era aviators, and USMC Vietnam deployment patch collectors.

Pegasus. Vietnam. Heavy lift under fire.
