Clematis 'Kokonoe' is a beautiful deciduous climber with stunning violet-purple blooms from midsummer well into autumn. The first flowers are single, with double flowers appearing later in the season. Looks sensational trained up an obelisk or over an arch. ‘Kokonoe’ is a Group 3 clematis, and should be pruned in late winter or early spring for the best display of flowers in summer.
